Description

The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) is a 20-kton liquid scintillator neutrino experiment located in South China, which began data taking in August 2025. JUNO aims to determine the neutrino mass ordering (NMO) and measure neutrino oscillation parameters with unprecedented precision by detecting electron antineutrinos (νebar) produced by nuclear reactors at an average baseline of 52.5 km. Its large target mass and high energy resolution allow JUNO to simultaneously probe the solar and atmospheric oscillation parameters through vacuum-dominated reactor antineutrino oscillations.

In this talk, the recently published results based on 207.2 days of reactor antineutrino data will be presented. These include world-leading precision measurements of the solar oscillation parameters (sin2 θ12 and Δm221), the first JUNO measurement of the atmospheric mass splitting (Δm231) with approximately 1% precision, and the significance of the neutrino mass ordering determination when combined with constraints from long-baseline accelerator experiments.
