The CRC 1660 will be hosting a fascinating workshop with Stefan Verra, one of the most sought-after body language experts in Europe.
"We decide in the first few moments whether a person appears competent, likeable and trustworthy (...). Out of evolutionary necessity, the brain makes this decision much more quickly based on our body language. It is therefore the messenger of our inner values."

This workshop with Stefan Verra explores how gestures, posture, facial expressions, and other non-verbal signals influence communication and interpersonal interactions. Participants will reflect on their own body language and learn how it can affect those around them.
Furthermore, the workshop will address gender-related issues in body language and how certain gestures, postures, or expressions may be read differently depending on who displays them. What is perceived as assertiveness in one person may be judged as inappropriate in another. Participants will explore how these dynamics affect collaboration, attribution of competence, and career advancement, and how an awareness of them can help avoid misunderstandings and communicate more effectively.
What you will learn:
- Be assertive with the NN rule
- Be charismatic with one facial signal
- Appear trustworthy with two gestures
- Never be overlooked again with a subtle hand movement
- Gain respect through one simple body language rule
